What’s the best local food you’ve ever tried while traveling?

Then there's Lassi! Oh, where do I even start? The Lassi is so thick and on top of that, they add Malai to it and it's so yummy! The Lassi is so thick in Amritsar that you cannot sip it using a straw; you need a spoon to “eat” it. And you know what's the best part about this? A meal comprising of Kulche, Chole and a glass of Lassi costs 100 rupees only - that's less than 1 GBP!

That would probably be Kulcha and Chole when I was in Amritsar. The Kulcha in Amritsar tastes like nothing that you would find elsewhere in India. I don't know what they use but whatever it is, they make the best Kulchas and it is not just specific to any one or two restaurants - go to any restaurant and you'll find the best Kulchas you'll ever have!

The Chole that you get with the Kulcha is also fantastic. It's a little bit spicy, quite rich in flavour and taste. This combination is popularly called ‘Chole Kulche’ and I have been to Amritsar twice and I used to have this for lunch and dinner every day!

If everyone in Russia dropped into holes in the ground only never to return, would that be good for NATO and international peacekeepers? Can we convince Russians to be less diabolical, so they coexist? Does Putin stink like doo doo in the commode?
